IEC 2015 cz.2 - MyCiC - szybki poradnik

Kategoria: IEC 2015

W załączeniu tutek z angielskiego forum, jeżeli ktoś byłby zainteresowany wzorem 'Travel Itinerary' to mogę udostępnić przykładową wersję, niestety funkcja dodawania do posta załączników coś nie działa więc wrzucam tutaj: przeklej.org/file/mukB7n/Travel.Itinerary.for.Canada.pdf

STAGE 2:-
For anyone already on their way to getting a Conditional Acceptance Letter, this what you can (and should) do for Stage 2, whilst you are waiting.
The new poster/diagram says that after Day 1 you should 'Immediately use Come to Canada to obtain a checklist of the required documents' ready for Stage 2. This is a simplified version of what Stage 2 entails with the link to the 'Come to Canada' wizard.
www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/getting-started.asp
This is simply a questionnaire but it guides you to the right forms (you will be a 'worker' going to Canada 'temporarily over 6 months').
At the question about the designated countries, see here:-http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/dcl.asp
You will end up with a 'personal checklist code'. Make a note of it and then create a MyCIC account using the GCKey option.
www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp
Once you have done that you need to start your application for a work permit at the bit that says 'what do you want to do today?' Ignore the other blue boxes and select the top one. You will be asked for your Personal Checklist Code which will then give you a list of 'required documents'. (Your checklist code lasts 60 days, so if you don't submit your application by then, you'll have to start again. If you make any mistakes in the questionnaire, just fill it in again).
It should all be straightforward from there.
Despite what it says, there are NO FORMS TO BE SIGNED. Fill them in, save them (validate IMM1295 as well). There is $100 to pay but you can only do that once you have your CAL.
(Once everything is uploaded including your CAL, you are taken to one final page. By filling in your name here, you are deemed to have signed the whole application. You can then submit).
Filling in the forms:-
Leave UCI blank (it's only if you have done an IEC visa before) and put n/a where anything is not applicable, and 'unknown' where it asks for details of proposed work, employer address etc. This guide has info to help filling in the IMM1295 form, under 'complete the application':-
www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applic.../5487ETOC.asp#5487E4
The two forms Work Permit Form IMM1295E and Family Form IMM5707E. A lot of people query this second form because of the countries listed however they only apply to applicants who are under 18 AND from those countries. It mentions siblings, but it's an error as there is nowhere to put the details in the form.
In general, everyone needs to upload at least one police certificate. You must get one from each country or territory where you have lived for six or more months in a row since the age of 18 and the certificate(s) must be issued no more than three months before you submit Stage 2 to CIC.
How to obtain a police certificate:-
www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/securi...olice-cert/index.asp
If you have more than one police certificate, merge them into one pdf (the same process for you passport info page plus any with stamps/markings):-
smallpdf.com/merge-pdf
If you have more employment history than form IMM1295 allows, simply type up a word doc with the extra info and upload under 'Optional Documents'.
For 'Travel Itinerary', don't worry about having flights booked (which CIC advise NOT to do until you have your PoE, so a weird request!) Just give brief details of when and where you expect to go to Canada and where you plan to spend your two years. If you are already in Canada, say when and where you arrived, where you have been since then, where you will activate your second PoE and then where you plan to spend the next two years.
For any PDF documents/forms, if you get an error message when opening them (telling you to update your Adobe Reader, even if you know you have the latest) try this:- right click, save target as....to your desktop, and open from there.
IMPORTANT
Always keep a note of your login details for both Kompass and MyCIC accounts including security questions and answers. Also, save both your CAL and PoE letter onto your desktop and print them out too. Do not just leave them in your online accounts as they can disappear. If any of these PDF documents don't open correctly, save them to your desktop and open them from there and if there is still a problem, try a different browser.
EVEN MORE IMPORTANT
The IEC have now confirmed that the CAL validity is only 14 days (instead of 90 days like last year) to apply for Stage 2. It also confirms what to do if you need more time.
'Should you be unable to provide the information and/or other documents requested by CIC, you must advise them in writing, the detailed reasons why you cannot provide the document/information requested. You must upload this written explanation electronically through the MyCIC portal in lieu of the document requested'.
If you do have to add a police certificate later, once you've submitted, you can only do so when CIC provide a new slot for it, which may take a few weeks. Once they do, upload the document and then submit it too. You will need to do the electronic signature again and on your required documents, check that it then says 'provided' next to that document.
It can take up to 6 weeks to receive a PoE and having to add something at a later stage, like this, can add to that time. Good luck. The IEC is a lesson in patience!
